You chose a board with the 1336 chipset in it. The 1336 chips are useless UNLESS you're going with a 980 / 990x, in this case you're not.

The 1155 chips ( 13 2100 - i5 2500k & i7 2600k ) are WAY better, cheaper and newer hardware.

You said heavy rendering..the I7-2700K will be a perfect choice for you since it has the hyper threading cores.

The K series chips are meant to be overclocked like crazy! You could probably get it to 4.5 GHZ with a hyper 212.

Thanks man and this is saving me money which i can spend on parts if i intend on upgrading in the future. I did intend on Overclocking my cpu just to maximize performance of course apparently people are getting the likes of the 2500K to like 5Ghz.

Also INTEL are bringing out some new processors later on this year i hear and their going to be extremist CPU's do you think i should wait it out and see what their made of or buy this right now? Any input?

I'd get the i7-2600k right now. Also, no one knows the price they will be, how good they will be..etc. The i7-2600k is an outstanding chip and will do all you need it to do and more. 4.5 ghz i7-2600k = Futureproofed
