[font=Arial:e3fa38822a:e3fa38822a]Hi well basically i got my ipod touch 3rd gen 8gb and i tried jailbreaking it but i hada power cut so it cut of half way through
now when itry turn the ipod on it just says on the apple logo scren for ever until it dies cos of no battery
i tried getting into into recovery mode by holding the top and home screen button but still nothing happened. any help?

I think you need to put it into DFS mode? Look on youtube for a tut.
OH and maybe plug it into the charger.

its DFU mode...
Step 1. Turn off your iPhone.
Step 2. Hold down the power and home button.
Step 3. When you see the Apple logo, release the power button but continue holding the home button down.
Step 4. Open iTunes and wait for it to tell you that its in restore mode.
Alternative Method:
Step 1. Connect iphone to USB then listen to the sound when it connect and disconnect.
Step 2. Hold the home and power buttons until hear the disconnect sound then release power button.
Step 3. Wait until you hear another sound then release home button.

i have tried both of these already but nothing its does not bott up into dfu mode also
when tryiong to plug into usb mode nothing appears to happen
i have tried on several pcs now and still nothing any other tips

maybe wait for it to die and then try to restore? happened to me but i forget how i got it out
