Alright, well I hope this post is useful to some of you. I know it wont make a difference to some of you also, but today I am going to teach you how to catch and find all of the legendarys in pokemon black and white. I have tonnes of pictures and information here, so please read it all!

First off, you will normally see them before you battle them, like this
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

See how you see it standing there? Well then you go up and click A on it, but before you do that, I highly recommend SAVING THE GAME. If you save it in front of the legendary then if you kill it you turn your ds off, then try again.

Best ways to get the legendarys
First off, you need to get the legendary's HP (Health points) down as low as possible. If you have an attack that paralyzes the pokemon, or makes it fall asleep I would use it on them also. Hypnosis is a great move to put the pokemon to sleep. You are going to want to throw some pokeballs or whatever kind of balls you have (tehe). If you are un able to get the pokemon captured, and run out of balls (tehe), then you can turn your ds off if you saved it.

What you need
You are going to need lots of ultra balls, and dusk balls.
*Recommended* a pokemon with hypnosis or a paralyze move.
Patience.
A pokemon a few levels higher than the legendary
A pokemon a few levels lower than the legendary
A pokemon that can take lots of damage from the legendary. (You send this pokemon out and try to capture the legendary)

Once you get the pokemon's health down low, its time to try and capture it!

Tips when throwing the pokeballs
Right away I thought this was stupid, but it does seem to work. When throwing the ball, press A and B and it should have a higher catch rate. You also can use the arrow buttons on your ds when the ball is rolling. (When the ball rolls to the left, hit the left button, etc). If you want a more descriptive tutorial on how to do the arrows thing, just leave a comment down below.

As you can see here, the person made Kuyrem's health very low. Kuyrem is a hard pokemon to catch, but if you have patience can be done with an ultra ball.

All legendary locations on pokemon black and white
#494 Victini
Location: Liberty Island

Method:
Victini is the first legendary you may encounter within the game. Victini can only be obtained via use of the Liberty Pass item that is given over WiFi. With this item, you need to go to Castelia City and enter one of the boats. This boat will take you to Liberty Island where you'll have to fight through numerous Team Plasma members in order to get to Victini. At the end, Victini will be there to battle.

level 15 when caught, moves learned are Quick Attack, Incinerate, Confusion, and
Endure.

#643 Reshiram & #644 Zekrom
Location: N's Castle/Dragonspiral Tower

Method:
The next main Pokmon you will encounter are Reshiram and Zekrom. These are obtained after you have beaten the Elite Four and N's plan of attack comes into fruition. Reshiram/Zekrom will appear to you in Pokmon Black & White respectively.
If, when you reach the end of the game, you have a maxed party and maxed boxes, the game will progress without you needing to capture Reshiram/Zekrom (previously, the game will not continue until it is captured, and you will be able to capture Reshiram/Zekrom in Black & White respectively in the Dragonspiral Tower. They will once again be at Level 50. Reshiram & Zekrom cannot be captured in their shiny appearances.

Reshiram
When caught is level 50, with the moves dragonbreath, slash, Extra sensory, and fusion flare. *Is only in pokemon black, but can be traded on wi-fi*

I wont do an in game picture for Zekrom, because it is the same as Reshiram, but the dragons are switched. If you want one just ask!

#638 Cobalion
Location: Mistralton Cave

Method:
After you have obtained tSurf, you'll get access to a variety of new areas. The first of note is in Mistralton Cave in Route 6. Deep within this cave, you will find a man talking about the three fighting legendary Pokmon and he'll tell you about them and then inform you that there is one at the end of the cave. Go there and you'll find Cobalion.

When caught he is level 42, with the moves helping hand, retaliate, iron head, and sacred sword. This pokemon is very hard to catch, but easy to get to. When you catch him you can get Virizion and Terrakion. I recommend a hypnosis on him.

#639 Terrakion
Location: Victory Road

Method:
Following on from that, near the top of Victory Road, you will find anew cave has opened up. Within this cave is the next one of these Legendary Pokmon; Terrakion. You need strength to reach it.

When caught he is level 42 with the moves, helping hand, rock slide, retaliate, and sacred sword.

#640 Virizion
Location: Pinwheel Forest

Method:
After obtaining Cobalion, you'll now have access to a new area in Pinwheel Forest. This area is on the eastern side of the forest and will allow you to find and capture the Grass/Fighting Legend, Virizion.

Level 42 when caught, with the moves helping hand, giga drain, retaliate, and sacred sword. Pretty easy to catch, took me 1 ultra ball!

#645 Landorus
Location: Abundant Shrine

Method:
Once you have captured and traded with a friend to get both Tornadus and Thundurus, take them both to the Abundant Shrine off Route 14. At this shrine, when you go and interact with it with the two Pokmon in your team, the Ground/Flying Landorus will swoop down and battle you.

Caught at level 70, with the moves rock slide, earthquake, sandstorm, and fissure.

#646 Kyurem
Location: Giant Chasm

Method:
North of Route 13, you'll find a new area called the Giant Chasm. When you enter, this area is filled with forestry, but when you come near the lake in the middle, you'll hear a screech and the whole area flash freezes. Go to the north and you'll find the Dragon/Ice Pokmon Kyurem in a cave.

In my opinion the hardest pokemon to catch. he is caught at level 75 with the moves, glaciate, dragon pulse, Imprision, and endeavor.

Roaming Legendary Pokmon
The second type of Legendary Pokmon we are covering here are the Roaming Legends. These Pokmon are the Pokmon that, once released, will be roaming the wild areas of the regions. In Black & White, there is no set way to find them. However, you will know when they are in your area as the whole area will be hit by incredibly heavy rain. To get them to definitely appear, you should have a Pokmon one level lower than the Roamer and above the levels of the usual wild Pokmon and use Repel so only it comes. The first thing the Pokmon does is flee so you should use a Pokmon with a move or ability that prevents Pokmon from fleeing.

#641 Tornadus
Method:
After you have all eight badges and head to Route 10, you'll be informed of a weird weather pattern in Route 7. Head there and continue on until you reach the second house. After being invited into a house, when you leave, you'll get confronted by Tornadus and he'll fly off. From this point, he will start roaming the areas of Unova. In the mornings, he will appear in the southern routes and in the evenings he'll appear in the northern routes. He appears in Pokmon Black.

He is caught at level 40, with the moves revenge, air cutter, extra sensory, and agility. He can use flee so you need to throw an ultra ball at him and hope it catches him.

The different Pokballs
There are many different kinds of Pokeballs. They are listed below:

- Pokeball - The original method of capturing a Pokemon. Avaliable throughout all regions.

- Great Ball - Has a higher catch rate than the Pokeball.

- Ultra Ball - Has a higher catch rate than the Great Ball.

- Master Ball - Obtained in different ways throughout the Pokemon series. Ensures a 100% catch rate.

- Premier Ball - (Avaliable from Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire onwards) Much like the Pokeball, but it is coloured white. Can be obtained by purchasing 10 or more Pokeballs from a market at once.

- Friend Ball - (Pokemon Gold and Silver only) Custom Pokeball made by Kurt. It is fashioned from a Green Apricorn. Makes Pokemon caught more friendly.

- Level Ball - (Pokemon Gold and Silver only) Custom Pokeball made by Kurt. It is fashioned from a Red Apricorn. Catches Pokemon of a lower level.

- Love Ball - (Pokemon Gold and Silver only) Custom Pokeball made by Kurt. It is fashioned from a Pink Apricorn. Catches Pokemon of the opposite gender to the lead Pokemon better.

- Moon Ball - (Pokemon Gold and Silver only) Custom Pokeball made by Kurt. It is fashioned from a Yellow Apricorn. Catches Pokemon better at night.

- Lure Ball - (Pokemon Gold and Silver only) Custom Pokeball made by Kurt. It is fashioned from a Blue Apricorn. Catches Water-type Pokemon more easily.

- Heavy Ball - (Pokemon Gold and Silver only) Custom Pokeball made by Kurt. It is fashioned from a Black Apricorn. Catches heavy Pokemon better.

- Fast Ball - (Pokemon Gold and Silver only) Custom Pokeball made by Kurt. It is fashioned from a White Apricorn. Catches Pokemon of a higher speed or Pokemon most likely to flee.

- Gold and Silver Ball - seen only in the Pokemon anime show. Avaliable in Pokemon Gold, Silver and Crystal through the only Nintendo Event to release Celebi (Japanese). When placed on the Ilex Shrine (in the forest near Goldenrod City), Celebi appears for capture. Is not used to capture Pokemon.

- Dark Ball - Seen only in the Pokemon anime movie (Pokemon 4Ever). Raises the captured Pokemon's stats to the highest level and turns them 'evil'. Guaranteed capture.

- Safari Ball - Used exclusively in the Safari Zone and cannot be bought or brought out of the park.

- Dive Ball - (Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire onwards) A ball that has a higher catch rate when used on Pokemon encountered while diving.

- Luxury Ball - (Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire onwards) Aids in your captured Pokemon's happiness/friendship levels. Useful for Pokemon who need a high friendship level to evolve.

- Nest Ball - (Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire onwards) Catches weaker Pokemon better.

- Net Ball - (Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire onwards) Works better on Pokemon of the Bug or Water-type.

- Timer Ball - (Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire onwards) Slightly raises the catch rate with each passing turn.

- Repeat Ball - (Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire onwards) Works better on Pokemon species who have been captured before.

- Dusk Ball - (Pokemon Diamond and Pearl) Catches Pokemon better when used in a cave or during the night.

- Heal Ball - (Pokemon Diamond and Pearl) Fully heals a Pokemon on capture. Meant to be used while on the road with an incomplete party.

- Quick Ball - (Pokemon Diamond and Pearl) Has a high catch rate for the first throw, but lowers the rate after each turn passes.

- Park Ball - (Pokemon Diamond and Pearl) Like the Safari Ball. Used in Pastoria Great Marsh.

Where to level up fast
Once you beat the elite 4, you can go ahead and beat them again. This time they all have 6 pokemon with the level range of 70-75. Once you defeat them you face the champion Alder. His pokemon are all mostly level 72-75 in level. I use this to level up my pokemon. But if you are looking where to level up for different parts in the game, I will show you.

Guide to a good start
First gym badge:
If you are at the first gym, go to the Dreamyard. Once you defeat all the trainers there you will get a pokemon like this

If you chose Tepig (Fire) at the start, the first gym leader will be water. Once you defeat all of the people in the dreamyard you will get a leaf pokemon so you can defeat the water pokemon easily. When defeating the trainers this will be raising your levels on your other pokemon too. Making the first gym very easy to defeat. This will get you going in the right direction with 3 good level pokemon right away. After I beat the gym I had level 14 Tepig, level 12 Patrat, and a level 15 Pansage.

Fire,water, or grass
Choosing your starting pokemon will be choosing one of your main pokemon for awhile. I normally choose fire because at the start I find that you face more grass/woods pokemon. If you don't like fire I suggest taking water, because the grass pokemon in my opinion start off weaker. This is just my opinion, and my expierence. Yours may be different.

Pokemon Reviews
Here you may either request a review. I will do reviews on any pokemon that is requested. What I will do is look at the stats, appearance, moves, and everything, and give you a detailed review on the pokemon. Just request one by leaving a comment below.
