PS3 - Free online, longer wait for Map packs, Able to play Blu-Ray movies, Better graphics than Xbox360, Much more
HD Pvr - Able to record, has lots of cords to connect, might become famous for making videos.

Just get a PS3 i have both and a pvr just is way overpriced. PS3 is the way to go.

I swear to many kids ask for PVR's these days. It's pretty hard to get famous on YouTube now, and you likely won't. Get the PS3.
