Hello guys, I need help on how to set up a server with No-ip.com
I made an account, and created the host, with a host name. What then?
I tried to paste my IP in the place of the client "127.0.0.1" IP. That gave me a "Js5connect error". So I tried pasting my created host name, and that just gave me a "Js5 connection error".
Help plz :d will rep.

127.0.0.1<---- that is not your ip, that is the local host ip. pasting that will get you nowhere.

Well, if you're going to have your server remain public, you're going to have to get No-Ip. No-Ip is a free service where you can use for websites, or servers.
First, you're going to go to here: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
and register an account at the site.
Once you have registered, your going to click "Add host"
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
It will bring you to this page
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
For the "Hostname" Just put the name of your server, and next to it (the drop down box) select "no-ip.org"
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
That is all you need to do, then just click "Create Host"
Now that you have created a Host, it is time to download the No-Ip Duc.
Go to this link [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Once there select your operating system.

Once downloaded, install it and run it.
When you run it, just log in to it, or it might of logged you in automatically. (Using the account you created on No-Ip website)
Click on "Select Hosts"
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
When you click that you should see the name you created on the website, MAKE SURE YOU TICK THE BOX!

Open [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and download the No-IP compatible with your operational system (Windows, Mac or Linux), after download, install, but don't open.
Now come back to the site, and click "Sign-up Now!". Use valid e-mail address (need account confirmation and used for login) and use a password that you won't forget! The other things you need to write, but anything is OK.
When done, confirm your account with the e-mail they sent to you in that address you wrote before. So, login in the website.
When logged-in, you'll be redirected to another page, there click "Add", under "Hosts/Redirects". In the "Hostname:" use the name of your game or other thing (this will be at the client!). Then click "Create Host".
Done! Now open your No-IP program downloaded before, write your login information and it'll open the address you wrote before. So, write that address that your No-IP is hosting (the No-IP doesn't host, you host :cheesy:) in the IP Config screen from your client. Then send your client to others.
And now to turn on you No-IP, open the program, log in, and mark the box beside your address in the white menu. It will load and update you No-IP, so, other one now can connect to your computer.
THIS WON'T SAVE YOU FROM PORT FORWARDING!

I know all that, I've signed up, I've created the host, and I've checked the box. I need to know how to get it associated with my client to run online please.
Repped for the effort and screenshots, thank you.
