My dad cut my ethernet cable and I have no idea how to fix it. +rep to whomever helps me. Thanks TTG!

If u have a smallr unused ethernet plug it into ur laptop

strip the wire protector off of every wire in the cable the twist every wire
together, then put masking tape, or electrical tape over it.

Would connecting the wires and then covering it with electrical tape work?

you would have to strip each outer coding of each wire using a knife or that on tool for whires... triwsting it, then the electrical tape to make it stirdy would work...
