well.. lets think about this for a second, a Flashed xbox lets you play illegally downloaded games. so.. yes on that one.. and.. JTAGs have frequently been attempted to be patched by Microsoft so.. yeah, only thing of the 3 you said that isn't illegal is the custom casing.and if i mistaken what you meant by flashed dvd drive, then im sorry don't flame me.

Jtags are not illegal full stop, neither are flashed drives, and the definition of illegal needs to changed to copyright infringement which doesn't carry a jail sentence in most countries, unless you are trying to profit off of selling copyright works.
