Hope this helps. And Welcome to the website 8)

Accidental Bumping:

Sometimes people make a wonderful post such as mines And can tend to mess up easily and get it deleted. Here's how. When you get positive feedback such as "Very Nice Post. Keep it up." Of course you want to post saying "Thank You." But don't. There's a "Thumbs Up button" that simply speaks for you. Just click "Thumbs Up" and let those comments keep on rolling. If your being asked a question. Then that's the time to comment. Other then that. No need. One more thing. I've noticed a lot of people comment to a question lets say, a day later. From what I've heard. It's considered bumping and can get your post deleted/closed. Be sure to put some kind of disclaimer at the beginning of your post informing staff your reason, of commenting so late. And that you are NOT bumping. That should keep your topic alive and well viewed.

U mad/Cool Story Bro Comments:

I don't even know where to begin on these. First of all, when being in the "Rant Section". It's pretty obvious "they are mad". So don't make an un-needed comment on a post in that section. It just makes you look like a fool. Then the second comment, Cool Story bro. Well, if it's posted in the Genereal Discussion which ranges from all things to everything! Including off topic **Stories**/Videos/Games/ and etc. Then don't comment negatively saying "Cool Story Bro." Of course it's a cool story. That's why it was posted! And even in the "Rant" section these comment(s) are stated. So please. To all members who use those comment. Just try to avoid saying them.

Spamming/Scamming:

When you see posts that say "FREE UNLOCK ALL 10TH LOBBY/MW2/TU7BP". There's already 2 things wrong with this. One, it's ALL CAPS. Two, No Proof. So here's where people become at fault. "Not the person who made the post", but member(s) who comment. If one member comments "GTFO :!: " then it causes a massive domino effect and next thing you know. There's 3 to 4 pages of "GTFO :!: ". We DO NOT need that. All it does is cause more spam and bump the "illegitimate seller's" post. On top of this, *New members begin to think "it must be real since there's a lot of comments". So, they PM the person on XBL or TTG and attempt a transaction with this person. Now this New member gets scammed and begins to have doubts about being a current member on TTG. We do not want that either! I don't know HOW MANY times it has been enforced upon everyone TO REPORT an illegitimate post like that and I don't know HOW LONG it's going to take before people ACTUALLY abide by that rule. So Below in indigo is an "inform him/her(IHH)" letter you can post on any "illegitimate hoster, seller, and etc." Hopefully this will reduce spam. Save it as a document on your desktop if you wish.

P.S. IF THIS IS COPIED AND PASTED ON A "ILLEGITIMATE" POST. THEN LEAVE THAT POST ALONE. WERE TRYING TO AVOID BUMPING/SPAMMING.

Dear "Type name of member",

You have no proof of your service being legit. At this point you are considered an Illegitimate "Type in what that matter may be". Your post is going to be reported and maybe even Closed/Deleted.
Until you get proof. You aren't allowed to re post this topic again. If you are caught re posting. Expect one of the following. It is placed in order of sequence unless staff decides other:

    Reported to Staff
    Warning
Suspended for a minimum time limit
    I.P. Banned

Anyone who does a transaction with this guy is held responsible for their OWN ACTIONS. Again, this post is marked NON-LEGIT.

Hopefully that letter covered all aspects about illegitimate services.

NOTE: If you see a comment that marks it as an illegitimate service. But still decide to go forth with the transaction. Then once again, you'll be accountable for your own actions.

Answering Questions from other members:

Now I know most of the time we ALL see the most foolish, senseless, and batty questions. That's the BEST time to make your move! View the post, and answer the question. Even if it's something such as "Who's TTG Sean?". You comment, in a "Friendly" gesture, and IHH (inform him/her) who he is. Don't put stuff such as "Wow Kid" or "Really?". Tell them who he is. The member maybe *New. Remember, it's our Job to help other members in all things. That's what the website is built for. Not to trash talk someone just because they didn't know a "Xenon" was a jtag. Or they thought it was a KV Type. TTG Sean didn't build this website in a selfish matter. He built it in benefits of him as well as the members. So when members are seen disrespecting other members, your disrespecting the website as well as TTG Sean and "Staff". They do alot of work just to keep TheTechGame in shape and to insure the website is maintained.

Being an Individual:

Not an outcast, but an individual. It's always good to be that one person no one ever see's anyone doing. Example, if you notice. A lot of people have the same avatar. That's just a little tacky. Now if your in a Team or Clan such as "ZZ9-Team" or "Dancing Milk Army". Then that's different. But Other than that. Try to be the one who stands out the most. That sentence in blue, is basically one of the best keys to being successful. Being different. Not Lady GAGA different. But just a little off to the side.

Making Tutorials:

When dealing in tutorials. It's always best to browse the forums and see what exactly people need help with. For instance, lets say you want to make a post about syncing controllers. When you start to see countless posts with complaints such as "Controllers not Syncing. Help Please." Then that's the time to make that post. Another example is what I am posting right now. This is me posting a little "information" and "advice" in hopes that it will guide members to becoming a successful helper on TTG. Now I wouldn't post something like this as a comment if someone made a post saying "Need RROD Help". Because they obviously need help with their console, not advice/information on how to be a successful member. And believe me, I've made a few tutorials and didn't get that much notice. But It got a few peoples attention and was helpful to some. Besides, if it was a helpful post, then people will Thank the Topic. Try not to get discouraged if no one does so or you don't get a lot of views, comments, etc. So again, just be sure your tutorials are about something that you see "A LOT OF PEOPLE" need help with. And if it's just a tutorial you wan't to share with members. Then post it anyways and state that it's for anyone who might need the help with "whatever the tutorials about." Hope this was useful to some of you. All in all, I want memebers to understand that they'll be getting noticed. Just keep up the good work.
