Battlefield and Call of Duty the biggest, bloodiest shooters on the market - are constantly competing with each other over hardcore shooting fans' love, dedication and money. But for two franchises that launched within a year apart back in the early 2000's, their paths to current stardom differ wildly. As we prepare for Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 to go head to head this fall, let's take a look at the hard stats that got both of these juggernauts to where they are today.

My Opinion-The reason why there is such a huge margin is because COD is for the kids, those who are lonewolves, and those who can't handle realistic team-based gameplay. In Cod you can run down the middle of a map dual-weilding uzi's.. in battlefield you run down the middle of the map.....hahha good luck! No matter what the difference in sales I know that I will be playing the much better game BF3!! There's plenty of more reasons why people prefer Cod or Battlefield. So let me know what your reason is in the comments.! Don't be shy! Also, take the poll it takes 2 seconds!! It's just for fun!!

Battlefield is so much more realistic, better, and awesome in general. Call of duty is always the same, boring, unrealistic, and really annoying.

BF3 is by far the better graphic/realistic one out of the two but i will be buying both simply because every now and then it is fun to play where it is a little less realistic and do some crazy shiz but if you want realistic feeling battle then BF3 FTW!

IM probably getting both, i like the realism in the Battlefield games. and Really just playing with friends when i get bored on call of duty.

ok to me when people always do these they always say BF3 is just good for graphics...
but to me i totally disagree with that..
my thoughts about BF3 is that BF3 looks different gameplay than BFBC2, in my belief, and why i say that is that BFBC2 seems like you can play both roles which is lonewolf and not survive long, or you can be the most badass squad there is and totally take over the server.
BUT now BF3 took it to the max with team based game. I dont know what DICE, i dont know the way they designed the maps, or whatever! but it seriously looks like more team based game. You have to have communication, you have to have good team work, you even have to have a brain (yes i know its hard to have one xP). BF3 is going to be ONE of the best games that will come out of 2011. So its not just graphics, its the way you play the game and the way the game is...

i totally agree with this 100%, ive seen mostly kids playin COD and think they could be superman with dual weapons, sprint in the middle of the map and kill everybody, but no they cant and they personally screw over their own team because from that kid getting killed so many times from him thinking he was a bad ass.
My whole point is that BF3 is going to be hella better the COD BY gameplay, COD may win by sells but thats it, if you ever noticed that COD made alot of games, and what do people say what best? Most likey COD4 (i dont), what about BF, i actually get multiple answers, and you know why? Its because all of there game are actually good, and not like COD, that they just hurry up and just do it for the Money and not there Gamers out there..
