My friend gave me a great deal, he gave me a 120GB HDD for 10$ with an elite controller. Not thinking, I plugged the 120GB HDD in through transfer cable and formated it as a usb device. The 120GB HDD will not show up when I try to plug it in on the HDD spot, and I unconfigured it as a USB device. :/ what do I do?

you can't plug in a hdd with a transfer cable just plug it in like your regular hdd

you can't plug in a hdd with a transfer cable just plug it in like your regular hdd

I did, but it just won't show up when I do plug it in. I tryed it on different xbox's aswell.

That happen to me and i corrupted my whole hard drive and i had to get a new one.

I think you broke it. although there may be ways to fix. My friend also corrupted his, by this happening.

Anyone else have any ideads on what I should do?
I was thinking of reterning it or calling microsoft? I'm not positive because I bought it from my friend and it has the warrenty sticker
