Ive gone over the 256k limit and my file is currently 1.2mb is there a way to lower this? Please help i need i really need this plus rep

256K Is NOT the max, I can tell you that right now.
Anything under 1Mb will upload.
Save for web and devices as a PNG-8 or a JPEG but lower the quality.
