This is a scene from the 2009 Movie Harry Brown - a film which is very relevant to the events in England over the past few days. In this scene, Harry (Micheal Caine) seeks refuge from the riots going on in London in a pub, along with 2 police officers. My reason for posting this video is the quote at the end of the video;
Frampton: It's not Northern Ireland Harry.
Harry Brown: No it's not. Those people were fighting for something; for a cause. To them out there, this is just entertainment.
This is what really makes me angry about the riots in London. They are not doing it out of protest, they are not doing it to fight for what they believe in, it is literally just entertainment for kids who are bored of CoD. Shocking as it may be, considering the rioters are aged between 13-19, If Modern Warfare 3 came out tomorrow I honestly think half the rioters will just stop because they have something else to do.
Armored vehicles have been deployed to try and restore peace - the violence in London gets more shockingly similar to Call of Duty:London Warfare every hour. I for one find it sickening.
