Any ideas I've tried everything?

Try all of these steps

- Plug it into iTunes, see if it recognises it.
- Put it into DFU mode, Restore. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
- Hold the home&sleep buttons for 30 seconds.

If you want it jailbreaking, Put it in DFU mode, and open RedSn0w, Browse for your IPSW, and follow the on screen instructions.

I KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO! Hold in the Home button 'Circle button at the bottom' and the lock button together. It will eventually turn on.

My ipod won't boot up If I turn it off :/ just load up red snow and look for ur firmware & then click just boot tethered now

Then it works

Put your iPhone in DFU Mode

And Restore To Factory Defaults

It will erase all of your memory.
