The Falcon overheats slower than a xenon and is less expensive then a jasper by alot. But the jasper rarely overheats and is the best for offline moding, which is what i will be doing. and if jtags ever go back online( probly wont ) i would host lobbies. Anyone want to help me choose? btw i will get a 12volt fan for the falcon

how long can i run it without it over heating? thats why im nervous, i have an old xbox that never over heats. and im guessing it has a jasper mother board but its fully updated and non jtagable

Just get a Jasper they are really good I used to have one then I got a PS3

Go for the Jasper, they are more reliable

I've had a Xenon box that worked great. It was a launch box, and had never RROD. Had it reballed, flashed the nand at 95% fan speed, kept playtimes down and worked great. Ended up giving it to a buddy of mine who still uses it w/o a problem to this day.

Currently have a 256MB Jasper. Thing runs like a champ. Can keep the fans on auto, play it for as long as I like, and still runs around 35C.

It all depends on your price point vs. features.

I would say Jasper, mainly because that is what it sounds like you want.

BTW, I didn't understand the whole "12V fan for the falcon" All xboxs have a 12V fan. But you are probably talking about the whisper fan.
