So I might be buying a jtag for 189. I know i can use a flash drive for Xexmenu and such.. but what about the patches and such?

as far as i know, yes you can. your gonna need a flash drive that can hold at least 8g of files though.

hes asking if you can load the patches using a usb instead of transfering it over with a transfer cable i think...

Thanks Guys not sure who to +Rep...

Since i found a jtag for 189. with 5 dollar shipping and freeboot but no HDD etc. and Banned

but if i can get a 16gb flash drive for like 20 bucks.. i'll be good. to stay under my 240 budget.. plus i can grab a shared kv or to.. to get lobbys started

yeah you are going to want to get a 16gb falsh drive. you can actually connect an ipod or an external harddrive and make that a harddrive. my 80 GB Ipod is a harddrive ) you can make anything that connects via USB and has 768mb free an external harddrive
