1/8" lexan is prolly the cheapest 12"x12" for $6 roughly call your local glass shop or go to homedepot

.093 plexiglass works the best can get it at Home depot and very inexpensive. score with sharp knife and straight edge cuts pretty good, couple scores with knife, like a utility knife or good extacto blade and almost can snap it . clean cuts
