the power brick is red but when i try it on another console its fine and xbox wont switch on

is your power brick plugged in fully? Mine used to go red if it wasn't plugged in fully.

it suppose to be green. Try forcivly pushing the plugs all in, to the xbox and from it. Tell me wat happens. Hope i helped. and dontworry bout the rep :p

i know you will think i am on crack when i say this but it happend to me once with an old xbox, what i did was wrap your xbox in a few towells or somethhing like that , turn your xbox on for about5mins with it wrapped up, i know its sounds like something stupid but it does work ! hope it helps bud:)
