I want to start coding for my windows phone 7 (making apps and games and such) but the language that the program you use to make apps is in is Visual C#. Is this the same as C#? Because I don't want to start learning C# then go to make an app and end up confused because it's a different language. Any help would be appreciated

Visual C# is C#. However the "Visual" simply refers to the Visual C# IDE.
EDIT:
On further research, although what I said is still correct there is a little extra. Visual C# is a more visually oriented interface for C# specifically for Windows.
