Easiest way to develop Xbox 360 games (and it's free too) is to learn C#, so you can use XNA Game Studio to create Xbox 360 Games, Windows Phone apps., and much more.

(There are many vids. on youtube, or other websites that you can check out, to get you started if you need some help; so here are a few. )

You can test your game as you progress with it, so you can debug the program as many times as you want to your Xbox, to see how the game looks, and functions.

Go: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] to start downloading the programs to create the apps., (get Visual Studio 2010 Express if you want: Vb.net 2010, C# 2010, C++ 2010, and more) or you can get them separately if you only want C# for example.
