Before jailbreaking make sure to sync incase you mess up although i don't know how that's possible

Okay first off you gona want to go to [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and download the appropriate version mac or windows.

Next your gona want to conect your ipod to your pc and run Spirit if your on vista or windows 7 run as administrator when you do a little box will appear on your screen and it will say if your ipod/iphone is connected when that is there it means you can jailbreak.

Just press the little buttom and it will get to work. A few things may come up on your ipod and it may make you update or restore (only if you have already jailbroken with blackra1n) just let it do this then a wierd screen will appear on your ipod with a status bar when it is filled up the ipod may reboot and then your done.

With this jailbreak (spirit) it works on all versions up to 3.1.3 (from what i have tried) and unlike the blackra1n jailbreak you WILL be able to turn off your device this is an untethered jailbreak

If at anytime you want to un-jailbreak you will need to restore the device!!! :!:
