We only have religion because we are scared what will be after death, think about it, if we could live forever there would be no religion.
Truth is, or so i believe nothing happens after we die, i'm waiting to be proved wrong someday.

You know how the universe started so how about an explanation other than what you hope will happen. I don't understand why you care so much about disproving religion when it isn't hard to in the first place.
I'm Atheist and that offended me, because I expected a better theory than that. If you want to offend a person that is religious, then go have a debate with one that is brain-dead, because as far as your concept goes it would get **** by an amateur apologist.
Obviously you haven't even studied anything about it or you would know what elements came from to cause the big bang.
No one was thinking that you were a scientist in the first place, so scrap that idea.
If anything they should be laughing at you, that you knowingly took it from family guy, who stole it from Stephen hawking and made it the dumbitdown version of it.
No it doesn't sound stupid, it is.
Again, an amateur apologist would kick your ass in a debate, because it wouldn't be that hard to disprove their theory (or if you can even call it that) wrong.
So since you wanted my opinion, here it is. Also stop acting like you are offending any religious individual with you're dumbass remarks. You can't spark a debate, or provide evidence for your claims. Also I can't stand the bait and switch in the title of the post, because clearly, you don't have a **** clue on how the world started or how to disprove religion. I'm beginning to wonder how old you are because I'm 15 and I can spark a more reasonable debate than you can. If you are below the age of 10 I have to say I'm sorry but if you are above it, then there's no excuse to the stupidity of this post. Along with the constant need to feel like you 'ACTUALLY' offended any religious person.
So please, stop posting these theories that someone else has already created and dumbing it down 50 notches.
If you were to edit it, I'd just simply delete it because everything you just said is just a waste of time and self gratitude upon yourself.
If you can't stem on a debate after someone say's "Then god created the world" then you have no reason to call what they are saying intelligent because in all likelihood if you can't find any fallacy in that or anything to support your theory than their theory is about as useless as yours.
If anything I wouldn't even call this the a "theory" on how the universe started or let alone say "you know how the universe started". This so called "theory" on how the universe started or "I know how the universe started" is about the same as saying "God did it".
No, it would make sense if someone that knew how to use logical reasoning and is able to form a reasonable opinion or theory. But anyone could get your retarded
gist on what you are talking about.
Hey, man. Wouldn't it be cool if we made a TIME MACHINE and prove that god doesn't exist man?
Sound like you came up with this idea only running on pure stupidity and beer.
So don't get butt-hurt over this since you did ask for opinions.
Also don't put a link from "how the Mayans were wrong" to this post. Before clicking on the link, I said to myself "Certainly this can't be as flawed as this useless shity post" It turns out I was wrong. Your reasoning with this post is about as bad as your post about the Mayan calender, and the end of the world.

In normal circumstances I would be like "Oops! Dead End" No way to carry on argument.

THECARJACKER wrote (I don't mean to cause offence for the following theory against religion)Did you even read this before you posted it? According to your theory you are saying that in the future when time travel is possible (which it will never be) someone could go back with all of Earth's elements and somehow cause a big bang? First of all, how would one travel back to when there was nothing? (there would be nothing to go back to).
This is my theory to disprove religion.
I know some people will think its stupid or whatever but it makes sense if you don't believe in religion.
Since there is no logical way to explain how the big bang theory (TV show) happened because we don't know where the elements or whatever came from to cause the big bang.
This is where religious people jump in with, "So God(s) must have created it"
In normal circumstances I would be like "Oops! Dead End" No way to carry on argument.
HOWEVER, if sometime in the future someone creates time travel, they can send the elements that caused the big bang back in time from different points on Earth (Or other planets) to the same point in "Pre-Big Bang" so the elements collide and cause the universe.
(BTW, I'm no scientist )
This may sound stupid but I actually got the idea from Family Guy
I don't think I've added everything but I will edit and add more info if possible
Opinions?
Again, I don't mean to cause offence to religious believers.
(I feel like Homer Simpson when he gives Ned Flanders the equation that God doesn't exist and Flanders burns it )
Second, how would he be able to start off a chain reaction to create the universe?
Third: What created the person that time traveled? Obviously his parents did, but who created them, their parents of course (keep going back until you can't go back any more on the family tree and then ask yourself this question: Who created them?
Logic problem on your behalf?

I can't help but feel you would be better suited to working on this theory
From my own source of logic (Which doesn't seem to be good) its time that this topic collapsed in on itself, and formed a black hole. (There, i said it. My only knowledge of space)

Congratulations, you have single-handedly restored my faith in this site, this section in particular. The level of intelligence present in this sub-forum is just incredibly low, but I can't resist looking sometimes. If you come here more often, you will find tons of idiotic topics like the OP. It is impossible to debunk/disprove them all, so I guess people will keep on believing this rubbish they get from the likes of a TV show.
I came across this one, and it completely altered my view about this site.
Forums/t=1944043/what-happens-aft...-here.html
I totally abandoned TTG until I saw your reply to this topic. I just could not handle this much stupidity and moved on to sites with a greater collective intelligence that pertained to my interests. Overclock .net, XDA, Reddit, Geekhack. com, Head-fi .org, etc. I was made so happy by your post that I am returning for now. Thank you.

Are you implying that the theory "propounded" by Family Guy is likely? Read a few of the above responses.
