i see alot of people create a profile picture with there name in it with alot of colors and stuff how do i do that or do i have to be a GOLD MEMBER?

Have someone make you one go to the graphics section and post there
or you can have your own pic upload it to Photo bucket and get directlink
and post in avatar thing *Note has to be certain size

No No You dont have to be gold just ask someone in the graphics board to make you one then go to your profile and click update your avatar then paste the link

You can use paint.or photoshop to create them
