what comes in the kits? like the chip, wire, diodes, and a resistor? or do you not need resistors for your 8 mode?

It depends on which board you have if need the resisters or diodes, they are only necessay with matrix boards, the kits comewith - 1 chip, 3ft of wire, 2 330 ohm resisters, 1 diode, and some solder. Also if want lower modes like 3 or 5 I can get kits also for them.

yeah idk some guy told me that for some 8 modes you need resistors no matter what kind of controllers you have
