besides from going out and renting a copy of BO or buying one is there any way in which i can download the game to my harddrive as if you would install it to your hardrive

Rent a copy from a store or borrow a friends copy and burn theirs to your harddrive. Then you can play the full game using your disc since the Xbox only reads the disc if it's from the harddrive and plays the copied game
