How long should it last if I am using it at about 2 hour - 3 hours then I let it cool down for a while like maybe a few hours then maybe use it again or not use it at all for the day
It has and has not had a RRoD history. It got RRoD then I turn it off and turned it back on and it was fine again. the guy who sold it for me had it for 8 months and used it for like 20 minutes a day and it only had that 1 problem listed above but was fine again with a little reboot. So im wondering
A) How long a day/at a time should I use my Xenon with 12v Fan mod. Should I go lower or is it ok to go higher then 3 hours (~ the time I use it at a time now) and how long should I let it cool down
B) How long do you think it will last if I follow what you said for A. also put into consideration it is already been used for 8 months without needing repair and the expected xenon like is 6 months if your lucky (or so i've heard.)

I've had mine for a couple of months,
I use it 2 or 3 times a week and i've had no problems!

This is an impossible question to answer as there are many different factors that can contribute to its life. Did microsoft actually do a good job making this specific console? How dusty is your house? How long will you play it? The list goes on.. There is no way to answer this question, the only way you can find out is to play it till it dies.

It is impossible to say exactly,but I would usually go with this for a non reballed Xenon 12vfan.

Thing with Xenons is the temperature they run at,but I'd say stick with what I said above for it.
It more than likely will get RRoD at some stage as even with middling temps. ,they are still being applied to the (fail designed) motherboard,and unless it's had a good reball in the past I'd expect it to RRoD at some stage.
Don't use it like you would a retail is my advice,use it sparingly and NEVER leave it on when you aren't using it,you'll regret it in the long run.

Well dont use it for more than 5 hours its bad for the xenon but your expected time for your xenon to die is maybe a year to a year and a half if you use it very often if you use it an hour to maybe 3 is fine but try not to use it as long the next day.Me personally i have a Falcon jtag and it works really well i got this because i do alot of offline modding(system links) and thats what they are best for and i used to have a xenon for online lobbys and i used it alot and then it red ringed last summer so then i bought a Falcon and system linked my heart out lol
