guys it will save to your hard drive, it HAS to because not everyone plays on xbox live there is countless people who have never connected to online before so them making it to where it only saves to a online server is highly unlikely.

This is true, I never thought of that. I still hope that it is unmoddable even though I'm almost certain someone will find a way.

Lol i beat Borderlands without mods easy I'd like borderlands 2 without mods in the beginning so people can actually beat the game without cheating, but then after a few months or so, then people should start trying to find mods and what not

False... If it was solely cloud storage you wouldn't be able to save your game offline... That being said I think that they are saving it to both places (cloud and possibly a local save). But I think you might be right about it being in moddable for the time being. I just don't see them only using the cloud for game saves. What happens if xbl goes down for a bit? If it was only a cloud save then it would make borderlands unplayable for the offline gamer and when xbl goes down... So I highly doubt that they will only use cloud storage.

i dont think anything is unmodible all it takes is 1 modded save file and then anyone can mod it

I agree with the people saying it has to save to the harddrive, it would be a lot different if the online was a shoot em up game where you fight each other like the call of duty or halo games but it isn't. You play your campaign online, so for the people without xbox live it must save to the harddrive just like the campaign modes for call of duty and halo, the only thing that saves to cloud are online ranking stats and for borderlands, there is no online ranking system to be saved. There is still a good chance the game will not be as easier to mod, the developers have been watching kids **** their game over since the beginning, so the chances that they aren't worrying about how to prevent it in their new game is very low. I have my doubts about modding borderlands 2 as easily as borderlands.

i hope it is moddable because some of the missions are insanly hard in borderlands 1 like for instence the eradian mission my friend died like crazy without modded weaopons plus the only reason they sold so much coppies is because you could mod
