Has anyone come across this before?

I followed the instructions to the letter and once I switched the box on, it eventually stopped doing anything except display the above code on the front of the box with the 'online' light flashing. It's a Samsung box.

I called their call centre and gave them my new box's serial number. They told me that the box was 'unmatched' and that they would have to fill in an internal form and get the IT department to resolve. This will apparently take up to 24 hrs.

I can wait, but I was wondering what this actually meant. Has this box somehow slipped through their register of V+ boxes that have been sent to customers? Why can't the call centre activate it straight away, since they can turn services on and off at the flick of a switch?

Curious to know if this has happened to many others.
