Hey can anyone help we out. The torx 8 screws on the 360 that hold the mother bordered down are striped and my screw driver cant get a grip to put them out. Does anyone have a way to get them out? And it is not An Xbox 360 controller and it is not a secured torx with the little thing in the middle of the hole on the screw. Its just a normal torx 8.

go google how to remove stripped screws, same process, then just go online and buy a new screw set for the xbox for $5, and then put the new ones in.... I'm assuming you have the knowledge to use google so no links are included....

Ya google was the first thing I went to. I just dont want to spend 50-100 dollars getting equipment that I would only use once to remove theses screws

what tools are you looking at? you don't need any tools besides the ones that any person SHOULD have at their house and are the screws themselves stripped or are the holes in the case stripped? if the cases holes are stripped you would need a new case...

Try using pliers, and if that doesn't work, then Google it and find another way.

You have to have a torx 8 screwdriver with a hole in the bottom, because in the screw, there is a little nipple that goes in that hole. Hope this helped.
