No, you don't. 2 GTX 580's in SLI out-bench the GTX 590 and the AMD 6990. Plus, I heard the AMD 6990 was extremely loud.

AMD Phenom II X4 805 Processor 2.50 GHz (havn't overclocked, planning on "upgrading" later on)

64 bit Windows 7 (of course)

AMD Radeon HD 6770 (No way in hell was I going to go over 300+ for a graphics card..

ya going to the fist poster i highly doubt you have a 6990 because they are like $400 dollars and unless you have rich parents or have a high paying job there is no way you would spend that kind of money on just a video card alone
