hi everyone,
well... i just got a virus 2 days ago
so i wiped my computer to get rid of it like i always do.
everything works fine all the time until...
i re-installed windows 7
i come on and see my internet has went from 100 mbps to 10 mbps
ive had my computer for nearly 2 years now, and its worked fine until now.
this does effect my internet i use to be able to download lets say a 1gb file in 20minutes, now its 4 hours??
ive went into device manager changed it to 100 mbps full duplex.
reinstalled drivers
updated drivers
checked if it was the ethernet cable by testing it out on my other pc (parents pc)
re-wiped my pc 4times
nothing seems to be working :/
its really effecting me, because i do graphics work, but i am not waiting 7hours to download just photoshop never mind everything else.
help please.

1GB in 10 seconds with 100mbps
1GB in 1 minute 40 seconds with 10mbps
I think you're fine.
Maybe you mean 10mbps to 1mbps
