Welcome to my GTA IV Life RP thread. In this thread you will learn a nice significant RP that has been around since GTA first came out. The RP has many features that will not be available in other RP servers. The RP includes the values death, money, and realism. We encourage the people who join our RP's to be completely serious at ALL TIMES. We focus on this because we allways try to make our RP's nice from the beggining to the end. The Roleplay features simple rules that are easy to follow (if your an experienced Roleplayer). If you don't know what RDMing is, you are not fit out for this Roleplay.



Some of the rules and regulations:

Fear Factor- You may not point a gun at someone if he has a weapon already pointed at you.

Metagaming- Using OC (Out of Character) features to increase your advantages in the RP. For example: You are a cop in a cop chase, and you found that person because you saw his blimp though a building. This is NOT allowed.

Revenging Killing- This goes in the line of RDMing. You may not kill someone for no reason, or for revenge. You MUST follow NLR.

Gun Holding- When you buy a two hand gun, such as a assault rifle or shotgun, you MUST hold it out. In real life thier is no way to fit an AK-47 up your ass. What you could do is, buy that gun, go in a car, and save it there. That's just a tip though.

NLR- When you die you remember everything about you except how you died.

Car Ramming- You can't run somebody over in a vehicle for whatever reason.

Food System- The system works like this. You get food once everyday by a food clerk. The clerk writes down what people have bought and for how much. You must eat once everyday. The clerk will write who hasn't eaten and who did. At the end of the game, the food clerk sends a message to the host from the amount of money they made.

Vehicles - You MUST buy a vehicle license from the host to actually use one unless it is job related. This is a great opportunity for public transportation drivers. [Taxi's, Buses, etc.]
Normal Vehicle License: $2000
Luxury/Sports Vehicle License: $3500

"Death"- [Cops Disregard This] - If you die for whatever reason you will lose $500 (Unless it was a pure RDM) If there is a doctor present in the game he will receive this $500 from you. Also, you don't remember anything that happend to you.

Crime:

-Crime must take place of one operation per day. Operations Examples: Robberies, drug deals, ect.

-Criminals probably wouldn't want to be caught, but just try to think about a nice RP story you can make if you let yourself get caught.

-Don't use what you don't have. Such as guns, drugs, ect.

-You can't steal cops cars because there is no genuin reason to actually steal one.


Law Enforcment:

-Make sure you're doing your job correctly whether you are a cop, detective, US Marshall, or ect.

-Make sure when you arrest someone, make sure you have the right tone and attitude to command people.

-All criminals must be first sent to the North Holands PD, and then transfered over to the Correctional Facility. When in jail, the jail time for the prison will be in this:

Drink & Drive: 3 Days & Therapy
Murder: 4 Days & Therapy
GTA: 4 Days
Drug Abuse: 4 therapy sessions



Tickets/Fines:

Hit n run: $300
Illegal weapon: $700
Striking officers vehicle: $500
Intent to kill: $1000
Fleeing from law: $ 1000
Insubordination: $250
Driving unlicensed vehicle: $750
Resisting arrest: $900
Discharging firearm at officer: $2000




Civilians:

-You must be doing your job correctly and keep doing it. You may not change jobs over the same session.

-You have to stay at your job for certain days and certain hours. You can't skip out on it because you think it's "boring".









Other Features:



NEW UPDATE- We have something called "SCHOOL" in our Roleplay. You basicly go to the majestic hotel lobby 9 AM - 19 PM from Mon. through Fri. You do this for two Roleplays and then you get $50,000 to make a bussiness or be a lawyer/doctor.


We have some more rules that really don't have a name. So some of the other features that you will experience in the game is having $2,000. Your first car that you hijack will be your legal car for the game. There will also be a gun dealer in the game that one of the staff will be. The gun dealer is LEGAL. Also robbing can only be done for a human player in the game. Not to a NPC.

The money you make depends on your job. If you have a low class standard job, you will get paid (x) amount of money. So with high class and middle class.

These are the classes:

-High Class= $4,000 every game (Doctors, Bussiness Owners, ect.)

-Middle Class- $500 every game (Cops, Store managers, ect.)

-Low Class- $250 every game (Store emploies, assistants, ect.)

*A criminal is NOT a job. You can not be paid for being a criminal. You'll have to make money your own way if you are one. Body gaurds only get paid by the person they're gaurding.

At the end of each game you're going to need to send a message to me and say how much money you made "that" game. I will add it up with the money you had for your previous games.

If you rob a place, you must stay in thier for five minutes legit. You must keep the owner of the shop/bank in costudy and than when it's time to go, MAKE A RUN FOR IT! If you are the person getting robbed you have to call the police. You have to say where you are. Although, you can not tell who is robbing you.

When you join the game, you must make an RP name for yourself. You can't identify a person by thier gamertag.

Also, if you experienced any other GTA Rp's, there is a system for the cops. Where they punch you and your handcuffed. This is the same thing. When you're handcuffed, you must get a car and follow the cop in his vehicle. While in jail, you essentially CAN'T escape from jail unless somebody breaks you out. Or if somehow punch the cop who is gaurding you and he gets punched to death. Than you can escape.

Houses is also a important part of RPing. If you would like a house, building, and ect. you will have to call me. You will also need a building to represent a company if you wish to make one. Such as an auto dealership, or taxi service.

Licenses are another way to legalize different "activities". If you want to buy ANY licenses, you need to call me in the game and ask for it.

Different Licenses:

-Flying- Allows you to take ONLY a mavrick out in the air and fly it around.
-Boating- Allows you to drive any boat.
-Gun- Allows you to keep your gun legally.

*If you're a cop and you need to have proof that a suspect has a license for whatever reason, you can call me. Everyone already starts off with a drivers license. Your license could be suspended if you mis-use it. If it gets suspended, it could last game days or up to 2-4 RP games.



*We really have an easy way with dealing bad RPing.
