Sony can't be shut down. It would cause a monopoly situation for Microsoft meaning MS would have to bail them out and help them get back up on their feet or else Microsoft would be in some deep sh*t.

OL so you think they will be shutting down? It's a multi million dollar business, how will they close down TVs, Controllers, Sound systems, Almost most things that are bought on the market, how/why would they close a business because of that?

From that 1 1/2 months they were offline (psn), they probably lost about $75,000,000-$100,000,000. that's pocket change for them.
No way that will affect severely to a point that they are out of business.

I don't believe it will. Sony is too big of a company to get shut down by that.
