Its happened to me once but never again after that, and yeah that will make the disk unreadable. Just make sure you stop it evenly, don't push your hand down in one spot, that will cause the disk to hit the tray while its spinning.

ohhhhh well ill try to like do that next time and ill try to stop it fast.
