I think your onto something here
One Giant Leap
In Moon, become trapped in the Receiving Area and free yourself through resurrection in co-op.
What if that achievement means one person stays behind in no mans land whilst the others do richtofens plan and then you get the achievement when the earth is destroyed and you are resurrected back on the moon!

Thats a more Detailed Discription yes and maybe Dr. Richtofen is so angry because of samantha becoming infected?
