I know people will do whatever they can to get post counts up, it's going to happen on a message board...but this type of getting your post count higher annoys me to death.

EXAMPLE:
Forums/t=2075148/how-do-you-get-t...posts.html

The first person who replied to the thread gave the correct and needed information. Everyone else is just repeating the same thing over and over and over again. I understand, the Gen. discuss moves so quickly and sometimes you try to reply to a thread and someone beats you to the punch, but that's not always the case.

Maybe it's because people don't even read the replies, they just simply post...but to me it just looks like an easy way to get one more post added to your total.

It happens all the time. These general questions being asked in the forums (which 99% of the time are answered in stickies w/in said forum) seem to get 2 pages worth of replies when more than likely the first person who replied to it gave them the correct info. Especially w/ questions like "How do I get a sig", "How can I change my motto", etc.

i agree completely bro, its like why even post that. In class when someone answers a question and they get it right, no one else blurts out the same answer
