I just did the heat gun re-flow and it worked for a while when I tested it and now when I boot it up it does the whole xbox starting thing and then just restarts and keeps doing it over and over again. I've fixed allot of xboxes and never had any thing like this.

If you give me a good answer and something I can go off i'll + rep

I don't understand. Someone has a legitimate question on this site and no one can answer the question. But as soon as someone asks what kind of cat everyone has its a freiken flame in 10 minutes. (Mini rant over)

Post it in jtag section no one knows sh*t about that kind of stuff in this section and make the post question about re-flow gun or something like that so people will click on it...

you could try differrent cables or try and reflow it again if that dosent work sorry i couldnt help you mate

Thanks for trying to help. but I figured it out. The dvd rom drive had a wire soldered to it for some reason and soon as I took that off it stopped restarting. Who would've thought it was the dvd drive? lol

thats a bit weird but then again you can turn on a working xbox without a dvd drive but when youve done a dogy flash on the dvd drive it red rings the xbox it self
