I call BS.
990xs cannot be used in dual socket boards. They only support Xeon CPUs.
Xeons are essentially higher-binned 1366 CPUs "optimized" for server or workstation use, which are really the only reasons you would ever need 2 CPUs.

Skruffy wrote lets see.... you just wasted alot of money...
you have 1 monitor, and 3 gfx cards  that is so stupid i cant believe it.
you have 12gb of ram, when you could have easily gotten away with 6.
you have 2 hdds, when one would have been perfectly fine. you should only get more hdds if your running out of space, for backups, or its a SSD.
your going to need a decently sized psu, and your cooling is going to suck until you add after market fans or cooling systems.
for 7600 you could have bought a car AND an amazing rig, yet you decided to spend it all on a desktop....
i dont know if your trying to show off or your incredibly rich, but all i have to say is take your palm, and put it on your forehead
Ya he is right my computer is better than that and only cost 1300 You have alot of unneeded Things.

..And it's going to be replaced in a few months by Ivy Bridge.
I don't see the point in going with socket 1336 CPU's, even if you have the money. Benchmarks prove it. The 2600k competes with the 990x. Much newer technology.
