you can use usb there is guides on how to use a keyvault all you questions are in the jtag modding section of the fourms stickied so go check them out they will help you alot also all the programs needed are in the jtag modding section to like xexmenu freestyle dash etc.. and how to install them to your hardrive hope this helps (= link to fourm is here

patch_mp.ff

Only must look around forums here, my favorite patch is from dudeitsspeed...

u can do it with transfer cable and usb stick

How to change the keyvault via USB:
What’s needed:
• 360 Flash Tool v0.91
• Xbins Auto Launcher
• Nand dump (XBR or Original) and CPU key from banned Xbox 360
• Nand dump and CPU key from unbanned Xbox 360
or
• Decrypted keyvault from unbanned Xbox 360 AKA KV_dec
