cpu is pretty good, a little out dated, but its fine
gpu is nice
mobo is good
ram is good

you should be able to run almost all games

valdiston wrote thats really strange that the score would be that low. you should check the clock speeds in whatever program you have for doing that and see if it got downclocked also to get a score of 7.0 or higher you need to get a better hard drive. the only way to really get over 5.9 is to have a 2 drives of 7200 rpm or higher in a raid 0 alignment or to get a well made SSD

you can but it still seems quite odd thats is a 7.0 i mean my 6870 that's only a 1gig card at 900Mhz scores a 7.8 on their, the 6990 is a 4gig GDDR5 card with a high clock speed(i don't know it off the top of my head) but that should be an easy 7.9
-edit- since you paid 699 for it you must have the MSI card you could always use MSI Afterburner to check the clock speed.

it was given to me buy my uncle who had to get rid of his gaming stuff and he said take this and put it in ur com or sell it for 699 cuz he paid tht not long ago so i did and my friends were like build ur own pc ontop of tht it wwould be beast so i was ok il give it a go and i have just really got into it i dont really no shit about this stuff accept from the chitter chatter i see i just want to to know if i have built a pc to play games good u dont have to post or read this post if u have cause not to believ me

in Windows EI, your score goes of the lowest score. So for you your score is low because of you HDD transfer rate, to get to your desired 7.0 you would have to get a faster transfer HDD. However, this is not important for playing games.

The 6990 will play every single game out there above 1080p with no problems. It's very powerful..and loud.

Just remember to get the latest drivers from AMD.

i think cards that poweful are over rated I mean my 6870 is running all the games i play maxed or almost maxed while running three monitors
