Can anyone please explain to me what the different types of Jtag Xbox's are and why there are different types and What the different types do? I also need to know the difference between banned and unbanned consoles. And if I have a Unbanned console will i be able to go online with it without a KV? Please REPLY

Xenon <-- takes any kv
Falcon <-- type 2 kv's only

You need to a KV to go online ....
Every Xbox has KV already in it..
Different type of JTAGs are just when they were made , like xenon is oldest , and uhm something is newest

xenon was the first xbox 360 made it is non hdmi
zypher was the 1st to offer hdmi but there are a lot of problems with them so dont waste your money
falcon is the way to go you get hdmi and a chipset that is less likely to RROD
jaspers are also good but can be a pain to JTAG
all JTAGS use type 2 kv's except the xenon, the xenon can use both type 1 & 2 which is why a lot of people get a xenon they are the cheapest and also the easiest to get a kv for.
banned and unbanned is pretty self explainatory. ( banned ) you cant go on xbl ( unbanned ) you can go on xbl
all xbox'x have a kv it is a unique number that they all have kind of like a social securtiy number, but once you go on xbl the clock starts till your JTAG gets banned then you will need to put a new kv in so you can go back on xbl.
you can do system link lobbies and infections with a banned JTAG or unbanned
