Okay, So I just got banned from xbox live on my main account on xbox I have bought over
300 pounds worth of addons and arcade games etc.
I have made a new account on xbox live and I am still able to acces my content that I purchased with my main account, because the game licences are on that console.
What I'm worried about is if I need to get a new xbox or something of the sort happens I won't have any of the content and all that stuff will be lost. Is there anything that I can do to retrieve my content if something like that happens?

I think there's a way. I'm not sure how to do it though.

I don't think you can license transfer a banned acc so I don't think you can

sorry but you are out of luck,
you are just gonna have to hope your console does not die or the content is lost forever
in future keep a spare account just for buying content and nothing else, that way it wont ever get banned and you will never lose anything again
