Pretty much 4 Half lifes were made if you include Episode 1 & 2.

Most source games never come out with another because of the amount of source mods.

EDIT : To the post above this, Killing Floor was the next zombie game like L4D to come out, wasnt too bad.

Doesnt Mean There Wont Be Another

There is going to be a sequel to Portal 2 though. If you were to play the Multiplayer Campaign then you would know that there is going to be a sequel. Valve basically said in the Multiplayer Campaign mission ending and the Multiplayer credits that there would be another Portal.

Meaning your point isn't as valid as you would like it to be but I get what you're saying.

It is true that they have not counted to three before. That doesn't mean they ever will though. We will probably never see a Left 4 Dead 3, but it would be nice to.

You have a good point but if there was to be a Leaft 4 dead 3 I think they can make it great
