if i was to get modern warfare 2 but it was the game on demand woulld i be able to play a public match/ xbox live?

yes why wouldnt u be able to what did u think would happen but imo i say buy the disc takes years to download GoDs

Yes. The Games on Demand are the full game including the multiplayer and campaign. It is basically the full game as you would buy at the store but on your Xbox without the need of the disc.
