I have just got a new computer and for the first time ever, I am using windows 7. It all looks awesome apart from the fact the taskbar is always on top of windows. It is really annoying as about 1/10th of the web page is being taken up by a slightly see through bar. If any of you know how to fix the problem I would love you, and ofcourse +rep.

You can make it smaller by right clicking on the taskbar and going on properties and then ticking 'use small icons', and you can tick auto-hide to hide it when you don't want it

Yeah but its still there. I have looked everywhere and I can't seem to find a solution, I'll get use to it but I wish I could change it.

Yeah, auto-hide is the only thing left. Or buy a new screen. Like 2560x1*** something. Full HD also.

I don't mean the location on screen, its always on top of web pages and other windows. I want it so that when I open a new window/app/game it will always be behind it.
