Ok before you post i need to get a HD PVR i don't have the money for it. so get over it. So anyways i need to know how to play in hd while recording in sd? i dont have the splitters and iv searched on this and Google and you-tube with no results to try to find out how to. Please help me!

Also when i try to switch the Hd - Tv switch to hd it does not work. it will only work on tv... i have the original red green blue with red yellow white cable.
