I was considering jailbreaking it, but I don't know if I want to. I have a few questions.
1) what are some cool features of jailbreaking it?
2) what are the risks?
3) will it break my iPhone?
4) is it worth jailbreaking?
Ill +rep ya if you can answer these for me. Its gonna pretty much decide whether I'm going to jailbreak it or not. Thanks
And I only want to do this for the themes and video (moving) backgrounds. I want to get an NHL theme if I do it. I'm not going to get apps for free, I'd rather just pay for them and stay out of trouble.

1. Free stuff, Cool Themes that customize your iphone
2. Non I can think of unless you put so much crap on it slows down some.

To the first comment guy, I love my iPhone and all, but I just really like the custom themes. If I do jailbreak it, I want an NHL theme, cuz I love hockey.

I'm using my white iPhone 4 it's jailbreaked works brand-new jailbreaking won't hurt you leave some cool themes / stuff on cydia I can look at please

well you get free apps and you can mod your iphone

losing your warranty and making your iphone SOOOOOO slow!
3) will it break my iPhone?
im not sure, i guess you got to find out

i jailbroke my ipod touch and it was cool at first because i got custom theme and free apps, but after awhile i got bored of it and it wasn't worth it. It made my ipod slow!!!!

Dude I would advise against it for a few reasons...
1) It's really fun at the start but after a while it get's a bit old.
2) It voids your warranty if you download anything on a jailbroken ipod/iphone (including apps, themes, tweaks)
3) It will slow down your iPhone so much... instead of my iPhone being like 20 second start up (which it was) it became 3-4 minute start up...
4) When you get bored and realise it was a bad idea jailbreaking your iPhone you will have to reset it and put all your songs and stuff back on...

If you jailbreak your iPhone then it voids the warrenty. I was going to do it aswell.

there is no risk ive jailbroken 24 iphone 4 and never messed one up 8)

Ok if you jailbreak the phone then make sure you sync it before you put it in DFU mode because if you put it in dfu mode without syncing it you cant restore it at all so make sure you sync. put it this way i have my 3g jailbroken and theres an app in cydia that lets you get anything free and lets you run a wifi signal off your phone like a router i run my xbox off of it sometimes
