ok i was wondering can i hook up a jtag with a wireless peace instead of an ethernet cord...

Yes but on the retail it must be below 30ms ping for it to be detected

If by "wireless piece" you mean MS's network adapter, yes you can use it.

If your purpose is just to get it online to FTP, download covers from JQE, or Marketplace data, MS's network adapter will work great. If you are wanting to system link with a retail or play online via Xlink, it proves somewhat faulty. You'll need the box hard-wired for those 2 options to work to their full potential.

Yes, i used to do this for system link. Wireless on retail and wireless on jtag and it worked great. NO WIRES!!!

it will work and like above its not good for system linking retails.

You can still use the wireless adapters for System Link. As long as your retail and JTAG are connected to the same network, they will be able to connect to each other and your JTAG will be able to infect dvars for your modded game.
