I've read the community rules and it says that advertising is prohibited but the rule above that one seems to direct the ban towards affiliation advertising (using advertising for personal profit).

My blog is just a sports related blog about a topic that I have knowledge of and provides me with no financial gain at all.

Would this still be against the rules?
