Yes but I doubt it that this stuff is going to happen I mean were not even at war with the few contrys that have nuckular power and if there was a world war 3 I think people would be more smart about it

It wasn't the fact that the calendar ended it was the fact that they predicted it would end in 2012 however, it is puzzling because they had many predictions and all the ways we think of them now and how they were written basically all came true. So it isn't "Hey I am too stupid to continue a calendar" No it was just the fact of their predictions (Although i do not think 2012 will happen).

That's not physically possible. You can't predict a plane crashing or wars.

They didn't actually predict anything.

The people who discovered the Mayan calendar, mistaken it to be a fortune telling tool. When in fact, it was there calendar of harvest and sacrifice. People just took it the wrong way, like "since that date has something written on it that we can't read because it's an ancient language, that must mean they predicted it."
Everyday of their calendar was planned by the stars, but so is the almanac.
The almanac doesn't say the world is going to end though...
