The x-clamp fix works for less than a week on most consoles. You need a true reflow with a hot air or IR machine. Or even better get the BGA reballed.

the x-clamp fix only makes things worse, if it where that good Microsoft would be using them trust them, they dont spend thousands on development for nothing

Getting into the repair business myself "with true hot air equipment".... Too many noobs doing the x-clamp fix.

someone is really... non-intelligent about the RROD.

I had the RROD three times on my old console, (call me stupid) I just took it in for repairs. I have a Slim now, but I know a lot about fixing it now.

This fixes it... but it's only a temporary-type fix. You have to add and buy a lot more to fix the RROD. You might as well just trade in your old Xbox360 for a new Slim. That's what I did and was able to get Live on it because of the wireless WiFi.
